HealthFitness has new opportunities for part-time Child Care Attendants at our facility located in Beaumont, TX. As a Child Care Attendant, you will be responsible for safe and fun play with children who are in the facility.

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 8:00AM - 12:00 PM, 12 hours per week

Key Accountabilities

• Greeting each parent, interacting with parents, and following up the needs of the child.

• Planning of activities for the children and assisting with stimulating and age appropriate games and tasks.

• Observe and play with children.

• Ensuring that the children in their care are safe and engaged in developmental activities.

• Participate in child’s activities: reading, painting, crafts, play.

• Sanitize toys and play equipment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Child/Infant CPR/AED/first aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred by start date but will be required within 30 days once hired.

• Knowledge and experience with young children is strongly preferred.

• Experience in customer service preferred.

• Ability to multi-task as well as work quickly and accurately.

• Computer proficiency including at minimum Microsoft Word and Outlook.

• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
