ITW IT Operations Administrator in Beauchamp, France

End User Support :
Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues from plant employees.
Provide prompt and effective Level 1 technical support to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
Assist users with workstation setups, configurations, and software installations.
Educate and guide users on best practices and procedures to enhance their technical proficiency.
Network and Infrastructure Management :
Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs), ensuring connectivity, security, and optimal performance.
Monitor network infrastructure to identify and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and availability.
Collaborate with external vendors or service providers for necessary network upgrades or maintenance.
Active Directory Administration :
Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
Ensure proper user access controls, security settings, and distribution lists within the Active Directory environment.
System Maintenance and Documentation :
Perform regular system maintenance activities, including updates, patches, and backups, to ensure system integrity and data protection.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with the central IT team or external support resources to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary.
Communicate effectively with plant management and staff regarding IT-related updates, changes, or maintenance schedules.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) working in IT support in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and group policy administration.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach to support.
Proficiency in English is required.
