Cleveland Clinic Systems Analyst (EPIC Experience required and Clinical experience preferred) in Beachwood, Ohio

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team of devoted caregivers. Within this role, you will participate in analysis, estimating, planning, designing, and quality assurance evaluation of modifications of automated systems. Your primary duties will include:

  • Documenting and maintaining schedules.

  • Tracking information for assigned projects.

  • Developing work products, best technology capabilities, and more.

The ideal future caregiver is someone who:

  • Has strong analytic, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Can easily problem solve and build relationships.

  • Can make decisive judgement under minimal supervision.

  • Is currently Epic Ambulatory certified but will accept Epic Ambulatory Experience.

  • Has a bachelor's degree or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains IT products, including planning and obtaining customer input and a knowledge of the existing functionality and limitations.

  • Serves as the technical expertise providing guidance and direction to other professional staff and resolving complex problems; participates in developing strategic plans for systems/applications development and modification within area of expertise.

  • Reviews system requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables.

  • Analyzes flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field.

Languages:

  • English language required

Certifications:

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.

Complexity of Work:

  • Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.

  • Understands principles of client/server configuration.

  • Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills.

Work Experience:

  • 6 years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning and scheduling a major information system project.

  • Strong analytical, administrative, presentation, and project management skills are required.

  • Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work independently.

  • Offset: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and 9 years of experience.

  • Offset: Associates Degree and 7 years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time, normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.

  • Requires the ability to walk to various locations throughout the Foundation and to function in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $40.48

Maximum hourly: $61.74

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
