The Ocean County Utilities Authority General Career Opportunities at OCUA in Bayville, New Jersey
The Ocean County Utilities Authority, a public wastewater treatment facility consisting of three treatment plants and 40 pumping stations, is presently seeking entry-level laborers. There are positions available in Bayville and West Creek, NJ.
The Utility Worker is responsible to perform general labor in the Authority’s operations and maintenance activities and to assist and support other Authority employees in carrying out their work assignments. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and an interest in learning about the wastewater industry are encouraged to apply. This is a growth position with opportunities to learn and create a career path in various fields.
The Authority offers a competitive salary starting at $16.50 per hour. We offer a strong benefits package that includes NJ State Health Benefits, pension (PERS), and generous paid time off and holidays. Relocation is not available.
