CTG Senior CSA Designer in Baytown, Texas

Description

CTG is seeking to fill aSenior CSA Designer openingfor our client in Baytown, TX.

Location: Baytown, TX (Hybrid remote, 3 days a week minimum in office)

Duration: 6 months (Extension likely)

Duties:

  • Professional with high technical competency who participates in CSA projects and designers' teams.

  • Influences direction of complex brownfield projects and communicates with CSA department peers, with other engineering disciplines personnel and project managers.

  • Participates on projects in size up to $25mm.

Skills:

  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.

  • Experience with Structural design practices and materials (ie. steel, concrete).

  • Experience with Civil design practices and materials (ie. Subsurface pipes, paving, drainage, etc.).

  • Understanding of Industry design codes (i.e. ASCE, AISC, ACI, PIP, AASHTO etc.), or building code requirements (i.e. IBC).

  • Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) or ability to obtain within 3 weeks upon employment initiation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Construction administration experience is desirable.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D and SPR.

  • Ability to perform field work, basic surveying, and inspection work in process areas.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

  • High school diploma, associate degree, or technical training.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
