Job Title: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour

Location : Baytown, TX

Schedule: 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights. Example: Work 5:00am - 5:00pm for 4 days, then off for 4 days, followed by 5:00pm - 5:00am for 4 days, etc.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will handle the customer’s packaged and pre-packaged products within our warehouse, ensuring all items are managed safely and accurately. Your primary responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods.

Essential Job Functions:

• General Responsibilities:

• Operate the warehouse forklift safely at all times.

• Follow all work instructions and complete paperwork accurately and timely.

• Verify the condition of customer packages and report non-conformances.

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and dock facilities.

• Assist with various warehouse operations as needed.

• Report contaminants and product issues to management.

• Input data into the VMU system accurately.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and workplace policies.

• Safety Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety and follow all safety procedures.

• Use required PPE properly.

• Report incidents or injuries to management immediately.

• Report any known safety issues to management promptly.

Requirements:

• 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified forklift license preferred).

• At least 6 consecutive months of daily forklift driving experience.

• Ability to pass a drug test.

• Valid state driver’s license.

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55.1 lbs) for 15 minutes and move pallets weighing up to 34 kg (75 lbs).

• Must have a resume with detailed forklift experience.
