BayCare Health System Financial Systems Analyst in BayCare Sys Office West, United States

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for providing systems support for the financial applications and Finance division of BayCare.

  • Technical responsibilities include working on implementations, system upgrades, configurations and system security.

  • Provides technical and application support for system and applications.

  • Creates data queries and report writing based upon customer and business needs.

  • Provides interface and general maintenance support from IS and vendors to maintain system integrity and IS infrastructure.

  • Identifies process improvements and handles troubleshooting.

  • Works with and provides training on financial applications to finance teams. Acts as a superuser of the financial tools.

Other Information:

  • Possesses a mix of technical and financial knowledge from either supporting or being a member of the finance team.

  • Detailed, flexible and has good communication skills to be able to describe business processes to IS and IS processes to business.

  • Super user experience should include direct interaction with financial applications/teams and prior testing and participating in upgrades or implementations as a tester or peer trainer.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and IS and 3 years as a super user or application support for finance team.

OR

  • High School Grad/GED and 5 years of experience as a super user or application support for finance team.

Location: Clearwater, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 9-5

Weekend Work: Occasional
