About the Role:

As a CBRE Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Facilities Manager on day-to-day operation.

  • To lead the team in the absence of the Facilities Manager.

  • To ensure the operation team closes the Si7 tickets on time before the due date.

  • Attending urgent issues such as equipment troubleshooting etc.

  • Attending emergency breakdowns and supporting shift technicians during weekdays, weekends, and nights. (24/7)

  • Manage and execute the preventive maintenance program.

  • Manage the preventive maintenance system Si7 tickets.

  • Daily tracking of the utility consumption and update to management.

  • Prepare technical reports, incident reports, and chronology for management.

  • Ensure ISO 9k & 14k documents and checklist are in order and ready for audit by internal and external auditors.

  • Review all the existing standards of operation (SOP) or create a new SOP if needed to be reviewed with FM.

  • To ensure the team submits all the related EHS documents by hard copy or soft copy before the due date.

  • Ensure the daily operation shift checklist and online reporting are submitted accordingly.

  • To make sure there is a full manning for shift operation especially anyone on leave or emergency leave (EL or MC).

  • Submit a weekly update for contractor weekend jobs to our communication group. (Every Friday before 4 pm).

  • Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to ensure no interruption to the daily operation.

  • To prepare engineering specifications, statements of work, and estimates for a wide range of facility-related projects. (If Any)

  • Provide maintenance technical advice to the operation team.

  • To lead the 5S program plant-wide and ensure sustained housekeeping level.

  • Ensure all the contractors obtain approval of a permit to work before starting any job.

  • To check and verify each “Job Safety Analysis” JSA submitted by the contractor before starting work.

  • Work with the CBRE EHS officer to close any safety audit findings with the team or contractor.

  • Check the operation spare parts inventory and keep the records.

  • Ensure tools and instruments are safe to use by our operation team.

  • Any project assigned by FM to ensure follow-up and update until the project is fully completed.

  • Always follow all the safety rules and regulations set by CBRE and the client side.

About You:

  • Ideally 5 to 7 years of experience in Facilities Management.

  • Degree in Electrical or Diploma.

  • Chargeman certificate holders will be an added advantage.

  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.

  • Goal-oriented, able to multi-task, and with good time management skills.
