What you'll do
The Global Key Account Manager is a professional business management and global sales position, leading an AME global cross functional team, responsible for delivering profitable business growth in line with SBU objectives, and winning major development program efforts for AME’s largest key account. The Global Key Account Manager effectively interfaces regularly with all levels of Henkel management and with all levels of the customers’s organization, requiring exceptional communication skills and Strategic relationship development planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Global Key Account Managers are responsible for leading their team in developing and profitably growing Henkel AME revenue by understanding our key customer’s technology requirements, and then positioning Henkel AME’s cross functional teams (product development, technical service and engineering, operations and sales) to deliver unique customer value.
Managing key relationships with all key functions at our key customer and internally within Henkel.
Provide clear direction and leadership to cross functional Henkel team regarding strategy, responsibilities and expectations.
Recommending product development initiatives and modifications to products.
Conducting technology road mapping with our key customers, working with Henkel SBU Leaders and Global Product Managers to position the AEE organization to protect existing and win new business.
Leading and coordinating regional or global sales negotiations.
Accountable for revenue targets (top-line and Product Contribution) as well as overall customer satisfaction.
Responsible for timely and accurate administrative tasks supporting the account strategy including qualification and implementation of products at the customer locations, forecast updates, maintenance of the customer project pipeline database, preparation of quarterly reports to management.
Effectively manage expenses to budget and company property.
Extensive global travel required.
What makes you a good fit
This section describes the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities that are required to perform the job:
Bachelors of Science or Engineering in a technical or business discipline.
8+ years of technical sales experience and experience working with major key accounts.
Profound technical knowledge in Structural Adhesives preferred.
Previous management or cross-functional team leadership experience desired.
Up-to-date computer skills incl. business typing skills, strong literacy in Microsoft Office Applications and CRM software.
Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Analytical skills and strategical thinking.
Exceptional communication skills.
Project Management skills.
Working independently.
The salary for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
