GolfCart Attendant | Part-Time Location: Bay Minette, Alabama Salary: $12.65 | Hourly

The City of Bay Minette is accepting applications for Golf Cart Assistant (part-time).The GolfCart Assistant will workoutside and assistwith outdoor golf course operations to include ensuring golf cart cleanliness and upkeep and maintaining the driving range. This is a part-time position, working 19 or fewer hours per week.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains and washes golf carts, with specific attention to cleanliness and appearance.
• Checks fueland maintains air pressure in carttires.
• Ensures sand bottles are in carts at all times.
• Counts carts.
• Recovers range balls from the golf range, utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
• Picks up baskets on the driving range.
• Maintains a clean work environment on and around the course, as well as the cart barn, including pickup of trash and debris in the parking lot, on the course, and around the building.
• Provides a courteous and professional manner with patrons and co-workers at all times.
• Refers all major problems/complaints to a manager.
• Communicates to a manager any need for supplies necessary for the day-to-day operation of assigned area.
• Follows established procedures for the proper opening and/or closing of cart and range operations.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Must be at least 21years of age.
• Must have good work ethic, be responsible, courteous, and possess good communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver license from state of residence.
• Must have the ability to work without close supervision.
• Must possess a positive attitude have the ability to establish effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the general public.
