Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations. The ideal candidate will utilize a multi-meter to test electrical circuits and components, read and understand electrical block diagrams and wiring schematics, and exchange motors, gearboxes, sheaves, sprockets, belts, chains, etc. This role requires knowledge of conveyor systems, troubleshooting AC & DC drive systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, and observing operations.

• Support plant operations through breakdown maintenance.

• Utilize a multi-meter to test electrical circuits and components.

• Read and understand electrical block diagrams and wiring schematics.

• Exchange motors, gearboxes, sheaves, sprockets, belts, chains, etc.

• Understand the functions of limit and proximity switches and their effects on PLCs.

• Troubleshoot AC & DC drive systems.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including solenoids, switches, and valves.

• Maintain knowledge of conveyor systems.

• Use a diverse range of hand tools effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician.

• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance.

• Experience with breakdown maintenance to support plant operations.

• Skill in using a multi-meter to test electrical circuits and components.

• Ability to read and understand electrical block diagrams and wiring schematics.

• Experience in exchanging motors, gearboxes, sheaves, sprockets, belts, chains, etc.

• Understanding of limit and proximity switches and their effects on PLCs.

• Ability to troubleshoot AC & DC drive systems.

• Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Knowledge of conveyor systems.

• Familiarity with a diverse range of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial maintenance.

• Experience in PLC troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $64480.00/yr.
