Advanced Tex Screen Printing Graphic Designer in Bay City, Michigan

Overview: As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, designs, and layouts that communicate messages effectively, inspire, inform, and captivate our target audience. You will work closely with our marketing team, clients, or art directors to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual solutions across various mediums. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in graphic design software and techniques.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualization and Ideation:

``` 1. - Collaborate with clients, or internal teams to understand project objectives, target audience, and creative direction. - Brainstorm and develop creative concepts, ideas, and visual solutions that align with project goals and brand guidelines.

``` 1. Graphic Design:

``` 1. - Create visual designs for a wide range of print and digital materials, including but not limited to:

``` 1. - - Logos, branding, and corporate identity - Marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters) - Digital advertisements (banners, social media graphics) - Presentations and multimedia content - Apparel design

``` 1. Layout and Composition:

``` 1. - Design and layout visual elements, typography, and imagery to create balanced, engaging compositions. - Ensure consistency in design elements, color schemes, and typography across all materials.

``` 1. Digital Illustration and Image Editing:

``` 1. - Create original illustrations, icons, and graphics using digital illustration software. - Edit and manipulate images, photos, and other visual assets to enhance their quality and suitability for the intended purpose.

``` 1. - Develop visual identities, brand guidelines, and style guides that reflect the essence and values of client brands. - Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all brand touchpoints and communications.

``` 1. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure alignment of design with overall business objectives. - Present design concepts and ideas to clients, or internal teams, and incorporate feedback to refine designs.

``` 1. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control and project archives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design work is preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Corel Graphics Suite.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout principles, and design best practices.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and openness to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
