Insight Global Sheetmetal Specialist in Battle Creek, Michigan

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring two level III sheet metal specialists to join our client 100% onsite in Michigan. This role will work with their crew, team, and engineering leaders to deliver on aviation-based projects. This person will review engineer designs to execute on adding progressive internet-based services such as Starlink, Garmin, XM Weather, XM Radio, phone systems, Pro Line 21TM upgrades, and more for state-of-the-art private jets, aircraft, and aviation equipment. This person should be able to provide their own tools and equipment to then fabricate, drill, weld, and install fixtures, brackets, components, and other design requirements. This role requires a high-level attention to detail, responsibility, dedication, and integrity to follow design requirements closely.

Skills and Requirements

4-6 years experience installing aircraft or aviation aluminum or sheet metal

Comfortable with interpreting avionic engineer designs to fabricate, drill, weld, and install fixtures, brackets, components, and other design requirements

Need to provide own sheet metal tools (tool list pending: ex: riveting gun)

Highly detail-oriented for sheet metal measurements Knowledge in Avionics Systems

AirFrame or Powerplant certifications

Experience working with Fiberglass buildups

Experience installing Internet-based systems on planes such as: Starlink, Garmin, XM Radio, Wifi Routers or Antennas null
