Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Battle Creek, Michigan

Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the non-profit sector. Based in Battle Creek, Michigan, the role involves providing computer technology support to staff, faculty, and students to facilitate the use of approved hardware and software. This role is under a temporary contract agreement.

Responsibilities:

• Offer technical support to staff, faculty, and students to enhance the productive use of approved hardware and software.

• Respond to and diagnose technical issues via phone, email, and face-to-face interaction with users.

• Install and maintain PC/MAC Software and hardware effectively.

• Leverage skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, Windows 11, and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).

• Use relevant experience and knowledge of enterprise software, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Print Management, WDS, and SCCM to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain high levels of accuracy and speed in data entry and computerized file maintenance.

• Show physical ability to install and move hardware and peripheral equipment.

• Communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels.

• Assist with system upgrades when required. Requirements • A minimum of one year experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector.

• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, and Deskside Support.

• Experience with Windows 11 and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users at various levels.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and IT solutions.

• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
