Oracle Senior Cloud Project Manager - ERP in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Job Description

Our team focuses on North American based clients using our back office cloud applications. Our resources are primarily located in North America and India. We’re growing fast, and we need consultants ready to bring their unique skills, energy, and creativity to help us continuously innovate how we deliver world-class client experiences on cloud applications projects.

The role of an ERP Senior Cloud Project Manager requires an experienced project management professional with strong business acumen, technical competency in SaaS-based software and leadership skills for successful delivery of Oracle ERP solutions (software + services).

The ERP Senior Cloud Project Manager works closely with Delivery teams, Solution Architects, Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Services Operations to ensure customer technology deployments & projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the project plan scope. The ERP Cloud Project Manager will also identify and mitigate any risks throughout the project(s) s/he manages.

The ERP Senior Cloud Project Manager must be able to manage cross-functional teams from different Oracle departments and demonstrate diplomacy and the ability to manage demanding customers. They must demonstrate leadership and motivational skills and mentor other members of the PMO. The ERP Cloud Project Manager actively contributes to continuous PMO process improvements and publishes contributions to the knowledge base.

Responsibilities

Specifically, s/he will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:

  • Works under the supervision of the PMO Director in solution deployment projects involving single or multiple work streams.

  • Understands customer requirements and helps translate them into project deliverables and milestones.

  • Responsible for project governance, stewardship, financial management and project planning.

  • Owns the creation and updating of relevant project documentation including:

  • Customer Project Plan

  • Change Management Process

  • Risk Mitigation Plan

  • Project Budget

  • Project Status Reporting (Core team and Steering Committee levels)

  • Project Schedules & Meeting Logistics

  • Manages successful project closure and executes the hand-off processes and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Program/Project Management experience in delivering ERP Solutions, including 4+ years of ERP implementation experience.

  • Formal Program/Project Management training & certification or in pursuit of CAPM/PMP certification.

  • Understanding of project financial and budgetary principals.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.

  • Working knowledge of the Oracle ERP solutions, with familiarity of other ERP solutions - Cloud or on premise.

  • Functionally astute in using project management software (MS project, Excel, Visio) other analytical and statistical software packages and tools.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $120,400 to $241,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $106,100 to $216,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $113,800 to $229,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $127,100 to $229,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
