What are we looking for?
The Environmental Wastewater Technician will support the environmental business by monitoring and maintaining a small wastewater treatment system in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This position is a part-time, casual role with less than 24 hours per week.
Shift/Schedule: Part-time, Casual <24 hours per week
What you’ll do:
Operate wastewater treatment equipment: Blowers, and pumps
Test and add treatment chemicals: Add chlorine to disinfect water as needed
Inspect treatment equipment: inspect equipment on established intervals to document it's working properly
Monitor conditions: Monitor operating conditions as required
Collect samples: Collect and test water and sewage samples
Record data: Record operational data

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of experience working with/in a wastewater facility or applicable experience
Must have Louisiana State Level 1 and 2 Wastewater (WW) Treatment Licensing
Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
