About the Role:

The Military Aerospace Government Foundry Customer Engineering Lead will represent Intel Foundry Services to work with Military Aerospace Government/Defense Industry Bases (DIB) customers in classified projects. Customer orientation and service mindset is essential in this key customer-facing role and drives programs to meet Military Aerospace Government/DIB requirements. This is an opportunity for a senior foundry service leader to work closely with strategic Military Aerospace Government/DIB customers as well as with United States Government (USG) funding entities through early engagement, technology evaluation, and successful product design implementation on Intel process technology. This role requires a strong customer service mindset with effective program management and communication skills.

The Military Aerospace Government Foundry Customer Engineering Lead will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a service mindset in this Military Aerospace Government customer-facing role and facilitating the FOUNDRY SERVICES technical interface with the customer team

  • Leading the cross-functional role responsible for driving customer engagement and coordinating all interfaces between Intel and the Military Aerospace Government customer product development team.

  • Building and owning the overall schedule through the entire engagement lifecycle, including Military Aerospace Government foundry customer design win, product design, product qualification, and manufacturing; ensuring alignment of all supporting functions and customer deliverables.

  • Escalating issues and leveraging capabilities across Intel as needed to support the foundry customer/product needs.

  • Presenting program status regularly to both internal and external senior management stakeholders and coordinating joint Intel/Customer management forums.

  • Driving decisions necessary to support the Military Aerospace Government customer program with the appropriate stakeholders, eliminating roadblocks, and ensuring all customer issues are driven to resolution.

  • Helping the Military Aerospace Government customer achieve leadership product performance and derive maximum value from Intel's advanced manufacturing technologies.

  • Coordinating Intel efforts to help the Military Aerospace Government customer successfully develop, qualify, and manufacture competitive products with Intel technology.

  • Ensuring Military Aerospace Government customer requirements are documented, aligned with the correct internal owners, and completed to customer satisfaction.

  • Partnering with both the Military Aerospace Government customer and Intel development organizations to co-optimize an Intel technology solution with the customer's products.

  • Highlighting and mitigating program risks.

  • Ensuring effective integration of cross-functional efforts including Silicon technology, packaging technology, test technology, design Technology, design services, Design IP, Design Kits,

  • Post silicon debug, test engineering, Yield, product engineering, and manufacturing services.

Qualifications

You must possess the below education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

This position involves work on US Government Contracts and/or proposals for US Government Contracts that limit participation to US Citizens. A person may be required to provide proof of US Citizenship in order to comply with US government requirements. Any offer by Intel for this position is conditioned upon satisfying any government requirements regarding proof of citizenship.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineer with 9+ years of experience or

Master's degree in Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineer with 6+ years of experience or

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineer or Computer Engineer with 4+ years of experience, including the following:

  • 7+ years of Leadership in foundry customer engagement in advanced nodes

  • 3+ years of ASIC/VLSI product/process development and/or foundry customer program support/management.

  • 3+ years of leadership and program/people management in complex engineering organizations.

  • 3+ years of experience in VLSI Product development from architecture through product ramp.

  • 3+ years of experience in 3rd party IP, ASIC design, and EDA tools/solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ASIC product development/design with foundry process co-optimization.

  • Experience with ASIC product development and manufacturing methodology.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
