Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of First Aid Adjunct Faculty. The First Aid Adjunct Faculty is located in the Adult and Correctional Education Division. This is a part-time position.

REPORTS TO :

Interim Executive Director of Adult and Correctional Education

COMPENSATION:

$50 per hour

Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women

East Baton Rouge Parish Prison

West Baton Rouge Parish Prison

Louisiana State Police

Other Correctional Facilities

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association first aid certification. Instructor certification preferred.

Job Concepts

Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
