Job Description

Our client is going through their largest digital transformation initiative to date, focusing on an ERP implementation. Phase 1 went live in April 2024, and Phase 2 is scheduled to go live in Q1 of 2026. The project aims to streamline and enhance the company's operations through advanced ERP solutions.

Currently, our client is seeking a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Administrator to join the team. This expert will provide direction and ensure the integrity of the project's progress. The role involves significant configuration work, minimal coding, and long-term maintenance of the project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle CPQ and Oracle Fusion, along with knowledge of other modules such as Field Service, CDM (Customer Data Management), and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud). Experience with UI components, SLS templates/documents, and configurations is also essential. The project operates on 3--4-week sprints. While the role is primarily remote, occasional travel (once a month or every other month) may be required. This is a contract-to-hire position, with future integration with Salesforce planned.

Position Overview: We are seeking seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team as part of Project Quantum, our largest digital transformation initiative. This role will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and long-term maintenance of our ERP system. The SME will have full autonomy to make decisions and will be relied upon to guide the client through the implementation process.

Responsibilities:

 Provide expert guidance and direction for the Oracle CPQ implementation.

 Fact-check the work of a third-party implementation team and communicate their progress and decisions to the client.

 Perform configuration tasks and some development work.

 Ensure the integrity and quality of the projects progress.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle CPQ with other modules such as Field Service, CDM, OIC, and Salesforce.

 Configure and manage UI components, SLS templates/documents, and configurations.

 Participate in 34-week sprints and adapt to the agile project environment.

 Maintain, enhance, and manage the Oracle CPQ system after the third-party implementation team departs.

 Travel occasionally (once a month or every other month) as required.

Skills and Requirements

Certification as an Oracle CPQ Administrator or Developer.

 Extensive experience with Oracle CPQ and Oracle Fusion.

 Knowledge of additional modules such as Field Service, CDM, and OIC.

 Proficiency in configuring UI components and managing SLS templates/documents.

 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Excellent communication and leadership skills.

 Experience with agile project management and sprints.

 Previous experience with Salesforce integration.

 Willingness to travel occasionally.

 Looking for a long-term role with the potential for longevity. Previous experience in a similar role within a large-scale digital transformation project. null
