We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the position of Purchasing/Planner (International). This is a highly visible role that can definitely lead to advancement within the company.
JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate and expedite the procurement of components and raw materials to ensure production requirements. This is a highly visible role with opportunity for professional development and success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Procurement of materials and components from offshore vendors including identifying & evaluating new vendors.
Material planning in accordance with production schedules.
Work with our production planning department, plan material needs to support the demands of manufacturing.
Container consolidation.
Create, submit, and expedite purchase orders.
Interact with Accounts Payable to assist and ensure the completion of the PO and invoice cycle.
Monitoring of receiving inventory and other related jobs.
Sub level production planning.
Provide reports and other information to management team.
Site visits to suppliers facilities.
Actively participate on cross-functional teams on projects that drive continued company success and profitability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS in Materials Management, Business Management or related discipline (Associates Degree may be considered)
3+ years purchasing experience.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Engineering background is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
