Operator II, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Strictly adhere to and report unsafe or unethical practices through the appropriate channels.

  • Play an integral role in daily departmental meetings to determine and set daily goals.

  • Monitor, track, and successfully implement your daily objectives, reporting consistently to your supervisor.

  • Actively engage in performance and development discussions, acting on feedback to continually improve.

  • Understand and implement the performance metrics, safety metrics, and practices for your team/department.

  • Update the stock management system (SAP) following the completion of allocated tasks.

  • Maintain personal training records within the company quality management system (MasterControl).

  • Follow established procedures to build batch manufacturing records, print labels, and use accurate materials and equipment to build the required product.

Experience, Skills & Abilities Required

We are looking for someone who:

  • Displays remarkable literacy and numeracy skills, with proven attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions, record data accurately, and use a computer, including e-mail.

  • Can meet the physical demands of the role, which includes manual lifting of multiple 25kg bags of materials.

  • Preferably has manufacturing experience, although it is not essential.
