The Teradyne Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Engineering Manager to lead teams in the development of products within the Semiconductor Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment.

Basic Qualifications ,Education & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electronics industry.

• Strong knowledge of Allegro CAD software suite, Valor DFM software, and

• Excellent skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with other departments.

• Some International travel required.

• Early morning shift required for conference calls with US.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Spearhead and manage the Nextest Philippines CAD team to ensure quality design on time to Engineering and Manufacturing groups.

• Mentor and direct designers to improve overall quality and performance.

• Develop and implement CAD procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

• Provide daily project status on all Philippines CAD projects in process.

• Manage the development of personnel and departmental budget.

• Attends product development and critical kick off meetings for initial product launch.

• Meet with other groups including hardware/applications engineers and designers to review and complete projects.

• Investigate root cause for issues and collaborate with other functional teams to address and improve product quality.

• Work closely with DFM and DFA engineers to ensure compliance with Teradyne DFA, DFT, and DFM standards and resolve PCB fabrication and assembly processes issues.

• Use TeamCenter to generate part numbers, BOM’s, and ECN’s.

• Create Project folders for designers to include appropriate design instruction information:(Data Sheets,stackings,Pinlist,mechanical details,template definitions,Layout Instructions,Critical power andsignal layout requirements.)

• Define & setup CAD package for designer as needed.

• Perform routing evaluation and project feasibility studies.

• Perform QA inspection on final designs for completeness and quality.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and launch innovative projects

• All other related duties as assigned by management.
