Custom Job Purpose:

This position exists to perform responsible work by coordinating the hiring of all Network Managers and all IT trainings for teachers, staff, secretaries, administrators, bus drivers, maintenance staff, etc. This position will work collaboratively with the Senior Director of IT Logistics and other 1ST Leadership Team Members with district daily functions, trainings and records of all statistics.

Essential Functions of this Job

Collaborates with the Senior Director of IT Logistics on IT projects such as interviewing, hiring and onboarding new Network Managers as well as planning professional development, etc. Collaboratively work with Director(s) of Instructional and Business Technologies to coordinate all IT trainings for teachers, staff, secretaries, administrators, bus drivers, maintenance staff, etc. Develops and maintains system level documentation such as creating policies, procedures, records, recordings, statistics, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to plan, organize and facilitate improvements to school technology. Ability to prepare records and reports and establish and maintain effective working relationships with various groups of employees as well as the public and School and District administrators. Thorough knowledge of existing school technology. Dedication to professional growth.

Education, Experience and/or Certification/License Requirements

A minimum of three years of experience with technology. Associate degree or higher preferred

Work Context:

Requires some sitting and standing, walking and moving about to coordinate work. Requires the use of alternative communication systems, such as electronic mail, telephones and computers. Requires coordination of work tasks to establish priorities, set goals and meet deadlines. Requires face-to- face discussions and contact with individuals and/or teams. Requires work with internal and external contacts, and with the public.

Physical Environment:

Requires working indoors in office or school settings. Requires sitting for the majority of the day, and the ability to lift, carry, move and/or position objects infrequently weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires travel to schools and worksites within the district.
