Your day at NTT DATA

The Skilled Business Development Representative is a skilled and experienced resource, responsible qualifying client leads generated through marketing campaigns, social media, or specific client or industry events.

This role forms part of the marketing demand generation team responsible for managing marketing campaigns, social media, and specific client or industry events to generate leads to drive pipeline growth.

This role is responsible for passing all qualified leads onto the relevant sales team for further engagement and opportunity creation.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

· Identifies leads that comes through Salesforce and validates them.

· Manages the process of uploading the leads from other sources such as (but not limited to) marketing events, marketing campaigns, social media or industry events

· Validates all the leads using tools such as (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Client 360, Email or telephone, to ensure they meet requirements.

· Qualifies all leads before they are assigned to the relevant sales team.

· Collaborates with relevant sales team to ensure opportunities for assigned leads are created where applicable and to ensure values are added to the marketing driven opportunities where applicable.

· Supports with reporting to relevant stakeholders on the pipeline, as well as BDR leads reports.

· Presents at monthly pipeline review meetings with sales leadership and supports the sales team with bottom of the funnel numbers where required.

· Setting up of appointments with the prospective clients and sales team, as well as following up with sales to ensure the status is updated on Salesforce.

· Manages the process of rejecting, accepting and recycling leads as per the MQL definition.

· Nurtures prospect accounts and moves them from marketing qualified leads to sales qualified leads.

· Documents and explains clients’ desired outcomes strategically for specific opportunities.

· Responsible for performance reporting and data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities to grow pipeline.

Knowledge and Attributes:

· Proactive approach to qualifying leads, collaborating with others, and following through on leads.

· Attention to detail.

· Analytical and ability to work with data.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Knowledge of MS PowerBI, Salesforce

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills and awareness to communicate and engage with prospective clients.

· Good in building relationships.

· Understanding of the Technology & System Integration industry.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Required Experience:

· Must have experience in a similar role such as technology or software tele sales type role, or in a business-to-business lead generation role or inside sales experience.

· Working experience with Salesforce.com or other sales automation or prospecting tools.

· Lead generation using web-based and social media type platforms.

· Solid prior experience gained within a Marketing environment is highly beneficial.

· Skilled resources who complete tasks in resourceful and effective ways.

· Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.

Problem solving:

· Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

Interaction:

· Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
