Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with reactionary maintenance, proactive maintenance, and the installation of new equipment. This position involves working on various types of equipment, including injection molding machines, conveyors, hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on injection molding machines.

• Conduct conveyor maintenance, repair, and complete belt replacements.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and clamps.

• Debug machines using ladder logic for PLC troubleshooting.

• Repair and maintain 6-axis robotics (experience with this is a plus).

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

• Perform electrical maintenance, including working with 480V systems, schematic reading, rewiring, and pulling wire.

• Replace filters, check for leaks, and repair/replace pneumatic cylinders and seals.

• Maintain chiller and air dryer systems.

• Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance or Electrical Degree with 3-4 years of experience.

• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with 480V electrical systems.

• Robotics maintenance and repair.

• PLC troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pumps and valves.

• Knowledge of plastics is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems.

• Experience in preventive maintenance.

Work Environment

This position operates on a night shift with a 2-2-3 schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. The work environment is hot, loud, and non-climate controlled, with a noticeable hot plastic smell. The dress code includes t-shirts, hoodies without strings, sweatshirts, sleeveless tops (not tank tops), jeans, shorts, cargo pants, and basketball shorts. Closed-toe, rubber sole shoes are required. Tattoos and hair color are acceptable as long as they are not offensive. No dangling jewelry is permitted.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00
