Associate Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Associate Maintenance Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will be centered around machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, and electrical systems. Your role will be pivotal in supporting and providing ongoing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment associated with the assigned areas within the plant. You will oversee new equipment installation, ensure machines and equipment function according to OEM specifications, and work with outside contractors as needed. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures, diagnosing faulty operations, and making recommendations to prevent re-occurrences.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large-scale, new-construction battery manufacturing facility. The facility is clean and climate-controlled. Initially, the work schedule will be a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, Monday – Friday. However, once the plant is fully operational in January 2025, it will run 24/7 on a 3-2-2 pattern with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid lunch. There will be a day shift and a night shift.
