With awesome teams already in Seattle and India, we are expanding and building a new outpost in Barcelona. Your job will be to hire and lead a world class software development org in Barcelona to continue existing charters and build new ones to invent on behalf of our customers: Amazon payroll teams and Amazon employees.

Barcelona, B, ESP

Basic Qualifications

• Do you have 3+ years of engineering team management experience?

• Do you have 7+ years of engineering experience?

• Do you have 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience?

• Do you have knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations?

• Do you have experience managing engineers?

• Do you have experience partnering with product and program management teams?

• Do you have experience in engineering?

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
