ACRT, Inc. Aerial Utility Coordinator | Akron, OH in Barberton, Ohio

ACRT, Inc. ACRT is seeking two Aerial Utility Coordinating positions. The Aerial Utility Coordinator position is responsible for oversight of scheduling, notifications, coordinating and deconfliction of utility aerial assets, including helicopters, vendor helicopters, and UAS (drone) activities. This position requires a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and on-call or afterhours. These positions will be needed for a one-year term, with possible advancement. Reporting location: Akron, OH or Reading, PA areas. Qualifications: * High school diploma, associate in applied science, business, or related discipline and with a minimum of 2 (two) year relevant work experience is required. * Comprehensive understanding of the electrical grid. * Aviation experienced preferred by not required. * Able to complete TSA background check for appropriate airport access. * Strong communication skills and abilities to work within a team setting. * Must be self-driven to independently manage assigned projects. Job Duties: * Foster a high-performance safety culture through personal conduct, leading by example, and the utilization of human performance principles. * Maintain customer and operating confidentiality. * Coordinate aerial operations across the organization utilizing various mapping software and utility circuitry maps. * Required Proficiency with Google Earth Pro, and other mapping software to monitor aerial activities required. * Monitor daily activities and plan for deconfliction of all aerial utility operations. * Communicate with various aerial suppliers, pilots, and business organizations.
