What will you do?

Main Objective

Support business strategy to ensure all EHS directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively developed and implemented at site level.

Main Activities

  • Be a key contact and site resource for EHS support during afternoon and evening shifts, conducting observations, assessments, and oversight of non-routine work permits.

  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses and ergonomic assessments.

  • Undertake at regular intervals HSE audits/inspections of the site and develop appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

  • Assist in the implementation and management site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

  • Manage site HSE training, develop appropriate resources, and execute training sessions for employees and management staff as required.

  • Support site supervisors with the investigation of HSE incidents at the site. Where necessary, lead investigation process.

  • Maintain HSE records to ensure adherence to corporate polices and/or regulatory requirements. Includes, but not limited to, OSHA 300 log, training, inspections, etc.

  • Other duties as directed by the EHS Manager.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelors degree preferred in an applicable field of study.

  • Minimum 3 years of EHS experience, (manufacturing setting / food production highly preferred).

  • Knowledge and proven experience utilizing EHS Regulations including OSHA, EPA, NFPA; with preferred experience managing critical lift safety programs.

  • Ability to work second shift and occasional weekends.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $68,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
