Covenant Health Outpatient Specialty Services Operations Manager in Bangor, Maine

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy & Outpatient Specialty Services and in collaboration with the medical director and clinical nurse managers, the Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of Outpatient Specialty Services predominantly consisting of the wound center, the foot and nail program, and the procedure nurse team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): assisting with employee onboarding, managing of the patient service representatives and referral staff, policy / procedure updates, ensuring all departments meet regulatory compliance (e.g., documentation, coding, and other related tasks). Other duties as assigned by division/department leadership. Computer skills and medical terminology required. Experience with electronic medical records highly preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have values consistent with the mission of Covenant Health.

Qualifications

Education: Two year college (Associate’s Degree) Required Four-year college (Bachelor’s Degree) Highly Preferred

Previous Experience: 3-5 years, Highly Preferred

Licensure: Active and unencumbered health care professional license (highly preferred)
