Job Description

What is the Job all about?

The OPEX Business Specialist will be responsible for deploying and developing a strategy to enable significant growth for Grundfos Energy Earnings. The objective is to nurture international collaboration aimed at efficiently prospecting and closing new business opportunities within the operational expenditure (OPEX) sector.

Your main responsibilities:

  • To be an active contributor towards expanding and defining the portfolio of OPEX business models within Grundfos.

  • Prospect for new business opportunities within the OPEX sector, mostly focused on the hospitality, healthcare, and education vertical.

  • Ensure continued revenue growth by selling OPEX projects to new end-users.

  • Enhance and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through various prospecting methods, including key account networking, cold calling/e-mailing, install base management and attending relevant conferences/events.

  • To pro-actively engage and represent in customer meetings, presenting our solutions and value propositions to prospects, effectively articulating/convincing the benefits of OPEX business models, and addressing their specific needs.

  • Increase internal awareness and understanding of the financial benefits of OPEX business models by working with finance, marketing, and aftermarket colleagues.

  • Follow market trends, analyze our competitive landscape, engage in peer company collaboration opportunities, and research emerging technologies to retain an attractive value proposition.

  • On an as needed basis, review and together with legal update all relevant contractual documentation to remain aligned and complaint to group legal requirements.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.

  • Previous experience in sales, with at least 5 years’ experience in a quota carrying role.

  • Expertise selling solutions and services related to cost reduction or energy optimization.

  • Ability to develop and implement new innovative business models.

  • Advanced communication skills and networking ability with C-level stakeholders.

  • Results orientated mindset and a proven history of exceeding expectations.

  • Advanced command in English (Additional language within the region is advantageous).
