Your Role

You are responsible for the delivery of operational excellence through your Operational Care (OCC) team by providing leadership + direction, while continuously optimizing production costs. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the key objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • To ensure operational excellence through high quality shipment management + export/import services.

  • To drive collaboration between Customer Care locations (CCL), Revenue Care (RCC), Sales, Systems + Processes to deliver a great customer experience, along with developing of new + existing customer targets.

  • To ensure supplier relationships are created + pro-actively managed ensuring delivery to service level agreements (SLA) + Preferred Carrier Partners (PCP).

  • To drive air logistics procurement + carrier relation management, developing pricing strategies by liaising on pricing + RFQ preparation, maintaining + strengthening such relationships on the most senior levels.

  • To actively manage interfaces + the exchange of information + knowledge across the organization.

  • To contribute as process owner to continuous improvements of processes + controls for lean processes focusing on cost effectiveness + productivity.

  • To optimize proceedings to ensure the development of operational targets.

  • To undertake the responsibilities as the local Dangerous Goods Coordinator.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • At least 3 years of experience as Team Leader

  • Good team management and work prioritization

  • Able to communicate in English is preferred
