Johnson Controls IT Senior Engineer (ERP) in Bangi, Malaysia
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible in support company during the ERP migration project and post go-live. Define new business process and engage business key users to drive the operational process change in the area of OTC (Order to Cash), PTP (Procure to Pay) and PTF (Plan to Fulfil) at the air conditioning manufacturing plant.
RESPONSIBILITY
Lead and execute IT ERP Projects related to the migration to Baan LN according to the guidance and supervision of the immediate superior.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks and conduct automated job checks on the Baan ERP System to ensure its smooth operation and optimal performance.
Collaborate to enhance the organization's utilization of the Baan ERP system, particularly during the migration to Baan LN. Provide assistance and support for new Change Request Management processes.
Conduct yearly processing of data in the Baan ERP system, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
Coordinate and communicate with external parties to address operational and functional issues or problems related to the Baan ERP system, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Ensure compliance with JCH-MY IT Policies in the context of the Baan ERP system. Identify opportunities for improvement and actively support their implementation.
Monitor changes in the Baan ERP system, including updates, patches, and new releases. Assess their impact, coordinate testing, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Execute specific projects related to Baan, as directed by the Management, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
To support key users on documentation all related procedure for the ERP and edge applications. These may include business process flowcharts and user manuals.
Lead and manage the Baan LN migration project, ensuring that it is completed on time and according to quality standards
Work with Project Manager and relevant team to develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and business resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and other departments, to gather requirements and ensure successful project execution.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to the migration project, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including end users, management, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project.
Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to facilitate the transition from Baan 4 to Baan LN.
Execute seamless cutover activities to ensure a smooth transition from Baan 4 to Baan LN, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure that the Baan LN system meets the defined business requirements and objectives.

REQUIREMENT
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
10 years working experience, or more is preferrable.
