MaxLinear Staff RFIC / Analog Layout Design Engineer in Bangalore, India
MaxLinear is seeking a Staff RFIC Analog Layout Design Engineer to be part of a world-class RF, Analog and Mixed-Signal Layout Team spread across multiple sites worldwide. In this role, you will focus on the following:
Layout design of Analog, Mixed-Signal / RF layout blocks right from floorplan to verification to closure
Mentor a few engineers, providing technical guidance to deliver the assigned IP/sub IP independently
Experience in analog, mixed-signal layout, including designs of PGAs, ADC, DAC, PLL, SerDes Rx/Tx and high current applications like DC-DC Converters and LDOs
Knowledge of basic circuits, matching constraints, design-driven constraints expected according to experience level
Standard analog layout techniques and good understanding of physical, electrical aspects of layout
Good understanding of reliability physics including Electro-migration, ESD and Latchup
Finfet experience and/or knowledge in BCD technologies also preferred
Proficiency with industry-standard layout and verification tools in a Linux environment (Cadence and Mentors tools)
Experience in RF layout including LNA, MIXER, VCO, RX, TX etc., and techniques will be added advantage
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, versatility, initiative, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 6 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience, or Ph.D.
