Title of Job: Staff Engineer - QA

Role Location: Bangalore, India

Position Description: We are seeking a passionate and innovative Staff Software Test Engineer in our team who will be focused on testing web & mobile Apps along with test Automation of multiple features & functionalities. This position reports to the Manager - R&D

Responsibilities:

• As a Staff Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for developing, and maintaining manual and automation test cases, and automation frameworks with Appium / Java.

• Must have hands-on experience in Automating Windows/Web/iOS-based applications.

• Well versed in Testing/QA concepts with excellent knowledge of Manual Testing is a must.

• Plan, design, implement, and execute an effective test automation framework: Create a foundation of automated tests - Unit, Component, Integration, System, UI

• Strong experience in Test Planning & Estimation.

• Strong analytical skills to be able to translate from system requirements and use cases to detailed test cases.

• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

• Working knowledge of software IDEs and debugging tools

• Strong knowledge of API Testing & basic knowledge of Linux.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language & be instrumental in automating regression testing for the product/assigned areas.

• Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.

• Good Database Concepts with working knowledge of DBMS/SQL/Oracle will be a plus.

• Assisting with the configuration of test environments.

• Interact closely with the Scrum Lane team to identify the automation scope and update them about the automation progress.

• Follow software engineering best practices utilizing the Agile development methodology.

• Manage test data collection and analysis to produce reporting of results, preferably with a self-service web front-end

• Strong Automation knowledge on continuous Integration while Integrating Build deployments tools.

• Should be well versed with Agile (Scrum & SAFe) Methodology.

• Collaborate across a dynamic geographically dispersed team.

Education & Experience:

Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/MCA/MS. - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications

Experience: 6-10 years
