The opportunity

The Commercial IT SHM Lead (Europe & International Markets) is strategic tech partner to business, accountable for strategy, delivery & innovation of Veeva Commercial IT solutions and capabilities that enables and supports Teva business strategy within the Digital Commercial function of Europe and International Markets (basically whole world except USA).

Executed by:

Managing stakeholder relationships and bridging the commercial business stakeholders with the Teva IT organization

Productising & owning Veeva commercial IT strategy & roadmap for EU-IM in line with business strategy and global tech strategy, ensuring priorities & investments are set effectively.

Maintaining close partnership and collaboration with other IT units, viz. Local IT SHM, Global MCM IT, Architecture IT etc.

Project management & governance of Veeva commercial solutions demand, deployment and adoption in EU & IM markets

How you’ll spend your day

Main responsibilities of the role (For the functional area)

Stakeholder (Relationship) Management with key markets

Defining and owning the long range product strategy with business stakeholders, ITMU Lead and the Platforms & Applications unit

Understanding business strategy, processes and priorities of key markets and bring tech-innovations from within & outside (industry) for business value delivery.

Forge relationship with Veeva vendor for effective solution fit in the market and innovation.

Developing and managing the product portfolio and be accountable for related budget in alignment with the strategy, business objectives and governance processes

Be the single accountable IT partner & advisor to Digital commercial business/markets & leadership for Veeva commercial solutions

Ensure standardization of applications by promoting shared processes, product governance, data harmonization and architectural compliance where possible.

Managing the team of internal product owners for key Veeva products

Aligning with other functional area leads and regional leads as well as Services & Support and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistency in key areas of service and delivery

Your experience and qualifications

Academic background: minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Prererably 10+ years experience within IT industry with 5+ years of relevant tech (Veeva CRM) management experience.

Up to date in current IT (Veeva commercial) trends & developments

Business Acumen and tech partnering experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience with setting and managing stakeholder expectations and managing internal resource constraints effectively

Global and E2E ownership mindset. Strong bias for action

Ability to identify strategic solutions to business problems

Ability to negotiate, lead and influence others

Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities and stakeholders while meeting deadlines

Experience with management and supervision of direct reports and 3rd party/consultants

Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
