BlackBox Sr Manager Business Excellence in Bangalore, India
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement standardized procurement processes and policies across all markets
Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to design and optimize end-to-end procurement processes.
Document detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each phase of procurement, ensuring clarity and consistency
Ensure alignment of procurement processes with organizational objectives and industry best practices
Implement strategic sourcing methodologies to optimize supplier sourcing, selection, evaluation and negotiation processes
Implement systems to track and report on key procurement metrics
Establish processes to monitor and ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations. Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to established standards
Implement robust Supplier Relationship Management methodologies. Define and measure supplier performance against established metrics
Collaborate with key suppliers to create mutually beneficial business plans
Implement regular communication forums such as newsletters, webinars, and feedback sessions both internally and externally
Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on supplier performance and initiatives
Utilize analytics tools to gather insights, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement
Promotes innovation within the supply chain by working closely with suppliers on new product development and process improvements
Foster collaboration between procurement and other departments to ensure integrated and streamlined processes. Provide ongoing training to ensure teams are well-versed in the latest methodologies and tools
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of proven experience as a Supply Chain / Procurement expert or similar role
Expertise in formulating sourcing strategies, enhancing vendor development initiatives, setting purchase procedure and supply chain management linkages to strengthen the overall value stream
Should be expert in Lean Six Sigma principles and Black / Green belt certified
Experience to provide leadership, oversight, and guidance to a large Global Supply Chain (GSC) management and technical team to achieve results established, implement effective sourcing strategies in line with Continuous Improvement
Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategy to ensure that suppliers and subcontractors have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements
