  • Minimum requirement is bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, IT or similar field and above 3 years of proven experience.

Position Summary:

LIMS Specialist with confirmed LIMS implementation experience to join our Software Engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible to collaborate optimally with diverse teams to ensure a successful implementation that meets the laboratory's needs. Required skills:

  • Graduation in computer engineering, information technology, or a related field is required, as well as three or more years of relevant industrial experience.

  • Shown experience implementing Laboratory Informatics Software (LIMS ELN, LES, SDMS)

  • Knowledge of OOP design principles and experience in C#, Phyton JavaScript, Json and R programming languages. Experience in SQL, Oracle, Postgres, integration with web services and API.

  • Experience in end-to-end testing in Desktop automation using one of the tools such as TestComplete or Ranorex.

  • Experience writing and implementing manual and automated tests on Desktop and web-based platforms.

  • Good experience in GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence.

  • Good knowledge in Windows Operative systems.

  • Have efficient problem solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be able to step up when situation demands such as following the timelines for work.

  • Be performance driven and determined to overcome hurdles.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understanding the specific needs and requirements of the laboratory.

  • Configuring and customizing the LIMS software to suit unique laboratory processes or industry standards.

  • Work with the most technically exciting components to create automated testing scenarios.

  • Write functional automated tests as part of our CI build-pipeline for acceptance of user facing features and tools. Integration between testing framework and CI/CD tools.

  • Performing thorough testing to ensure that the LIMS operates accurately, efficiently, and reliably.

  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.

  • Documenting the entire implementation process, including configurations, customizations, testing procedures, and validation protocols.

Desired skills

  • Experience with LIMS preferably ThermoFisher SampleManager LIMS.

  • Defines high level test plans, builds test cases and implements them (both manually and automatically) for functional, integration, system and regression testing.

  • Service-orientated architecture, micro-service testing or API testing experience.

  • Implementing and using automation frameworks in Web testing using Selenium and BDD frameworks as Cucumber or SpecFlow.

  • Dedication to continuous learning.
