In this role, you’ll help us innovate, evaluate, architect, setup, customize, maintain and upgrade the infrastructure for CI/CD of Pega Software Development. What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Evaluate, Install, Setup, Maintain and Upgrade CI/CD tools hosted on-premise and on Cloud (AWS) and on docker & Kubernetes

  • Involve in CI/CD infrastructure support working effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors

  • Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of issues critical to SDLC tooling processes

  • Innovate and automate processes/tasks that improves team’s productivity

  • Build techniques to continuously improve the stability, security and performance of CI/CD infrastructure

  • Configure and leverage monitoring using tools like Grafana, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch

  • Document and maintain application setup, runbooks, administration guides and troubleshooting guide

Who You Are:

You are a software engineer skilled at DevOps (CI/CD) infrastructure tools and technologies.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent role

  • B. Tech/B.E in Computer Science Engineering/relevant field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing innovative solutions

  • Proficient in providing technical support and managing production Linux systems/tools on-premise and that are hosted on AWS

  • Must have experience on AWS – EC2, S3, IAM, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, RDS, CloudFormation, Lambda, VPC, Route53

  • Strong experience with source code version control software (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Artifactory etc.)

  • Experience in deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes at scale

  • Skillful at automation using Python, Shell Scripting, REST APIs, Jenkins Pipelines (Groovy), Boto3 SDK.

  • Strong ability to develop automation scripts, tools, and frameworks to improve operational efficiency

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Splunk

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices

  • Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and their administration

  • Ability to multi-task and work during production crisis situations

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn new technologies quickly

  • Knowledge on Java, Groovy, Gradle is a plus

What You've Accomplished:

  • Experience in installing, configuring and maintenance of CI/CD infrastructure on Linux OS built on-premise and on AWS

  • Expert in providing technical support, RCAs, troubleshooting issues, and providing innovative solutions

  • Automation/programming using Python, shell-scripting, Java, Groovy, REST APIs, CloudFormation Templates, Boto3 SDK for AWS

  • Proficient working with container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes at scale
