What You'll Be Doing

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic Cloud R&D team focused on driving innovation, combined with the startup spirit and adopting a DevOps culture. As a Sr. IT Manager, you will be actively involved in collaborating with vendors, customers, and Cloud Business Units across various countries to enhance and develop the ArrowSphere cloud service platform. ArrowSphere, as a single point of entry to cloud solutions, is a powerful tool aimed at simplifying and streamlining the cloud experience. It encompasses the ability to search leading cloud products and build Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. This indicates a comprehensive approach to cloud services, providing users with a unified platform for various needs.

• Project Management : Manage multiple AWS cloud development, hosting, and implementation tasks, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, cost, and risk parameters. Provide project management for assigned AWS cloud hosting/implementation projects or tasks.

• Project Leadership : Lead the planning, manage the delivery roadmap, execution, and closure of cloud-related projects and POCs within the R&D Department.

• Global Collaboration : Work closely with global stakeholders, fostering strong relationships, ensuring effective communication.

• Team Guidance: Provide guidance to the entire local research and development team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and overall organizational goals.

• Solutions and Delivery Specialist: Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, whether they be feature requests, integration requirements, or considerations around security and compliance.

• Degree in Engineering B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech

• 12+ years of experience in a similar role (experience in project management is necessary).

• Provides overall project leadership to the cross-functional team (Business and IT) - ensuring clarity re: project objectives, approach and plan; promoting a collaborative team environment; proactively addressing resource and team challenges; and holding team members accountable for completing their tasks and deliverables on-time, on scope and with high quality.

• Identifies and manages stakeholders - ensuring that all stakeholders are identified and engaged; that their points of view and expectations are understood and managed; and that they are kept informed throughout the life cycle of the project.

• Accountable for project governance - ensuring effective use of the established framework; driving governance agendas, facilitating governance processes.

• Accountable for the creating, actively communicating, and managing the project schedule - working closely with the other project leads to ensure detailed project tasks are defined and tracked within the overall project schedule.

• Defines and manages the project budget - ensuring funding approval; tracking and managing actual spend against budget; and forecasting through to project completion.

• Leads scope management and change control - driving scope definition; identifying and tracking potential changes to scope; presenting scope changes for approvals.

• Provides timely, on point, and concise communications to the project team, IT Leadership, Steering Committee, Executive Board and key stakeholders consistently.

• Drives risk and issue management and escalation - collaborating with the team to identify, address, and escalate risks and issues proactively and holistically.

• Prior experience in handling digital transformation projects for a large enterprise client is mandatory.

• Involved right from solution design to implementation to post go-live support for a large digital transformation project

• Proven ability to analyze functional needs and requirements from a technical point of view,

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English,

• AWS Solution Architect Associate or Azure Administrator associate certification is mandatory.

• Knowledge of DevOps tools: JIRA, BitBucket, CI-CD, Kubernetes etc.

• Knowledge of scrum and/or continuous deployment approach,

• Knowledge of web technologies or / and MySQL is a plus,

• Previous experience with projects related to B2B platforms will be an asset.
