Position: Test Automation Engineer

Previous experience: CI/CD Pipeline, Automation Framework, UI and None UI Automation experience

Location: Hyderabad, India – Hybrid (60% office, 40% remote)

Employment type: Full-time regular

The Job: As part of our global E&S group , you’ll collaborate with a team of skilled software development engineers in test to design and implement & maintain test automation frameworks and test suites using C# .Net. This role will see you work closely with other internal teams to ensure successful delivery of quality deliverables for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites

• Design and implement automated tests for functional and non-functional requirements

• Work with software development teams to ensure that code changes are testable and can be easily automated

• Analize test results and provide recommendations for improving product quality

• Mentoring and training junior automation engineers

• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify, isolate, and report defects in software products

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and test coverage

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

• Keep up-to-date with emerging testing tools, techniques, and technologies

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• Windows Application Development

• Object Oriented design and development

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5+, WPF, WCF

• Microsoft C#, C++ development

• Microsoft Entity Framework

• Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation

• Experience of agile, or structured development organisation

• Functional and/or Systems Analysis

• Quick learner, enthusiastic and result oriented

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality, ability to think strategically and logically

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Self motivated and possessing a passion for success

• A good facilitator and organiser

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science or Technology based subject

Ideal experience:

• You can demonstrate examples of strong design and coding skills, ideally using C#.

• Experience implementing and maintaining automation frameworks and both functional and non-functional automated tests.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, ideally using Azure DevOps.

• Experience on UI and Non UI Automation on desktop applications.

• Hands on experience on CI/CD pipeline test execution

• ClearCase, GIT, TFS

• Test Driven Development

• Automated testing - both unit and end-to-end testing (MSTest, NUnit)

• Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit)

• Automated build

• Experience with AVEVA or competitor products

• Experience of working in companies focused on the Engineering market, particularly for Oil and Gas Operations

• Experience in public speaking and presentation

• Experience in collaboration with outsourced or external development partners

• Non UI Automation
