Amazon Program Manager - Non Tech, Account Integrity in Bangalore, India

Our mission in the Account Integrity (AIT) team is to make Amazon.com the safest place to transact online. Account Integrity safeguards every authentication event, while striving to ensure that these efforts are transparent to our customers. As such, AIT designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon.com. Account Integrity Program Manager , manages the investigation along with partnering and drives critical customer escalations and vulnerabilities to closure. The PM will be responsible to build the working backwards timeline for each investigation, consistently land investigations to closure by working closely with the escalations and analyst team. This PM is also responsible for meticulous documentation of investigations, communicating project updates to Sr. management and stakeholders on regular cadence and contribute in narrative inputs to MBR and other leadership reviews.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Create and follow standard procedures for the team to respond to bad actor incidents, while investing time in mechanisms that will lead to resolution of problems before they occur (proactive resolution)

  2. Cross functional coordination and alignment

  3. Monitor and respond to stakeholder feedback, escalate and drive clarity on customer escalations

  4. Deep dive and analyze critical escalations, identify gaps, create plans to mitigate and drive to closure

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo), proven written and data analysis skills, and show ownership/commitment. Customer obsession is a must.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
