Position overview:

You are responsible for sourcing of goods and services and supervise local/regional vendors, and perform purchasing activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support/implement and formulate Procurement strategies, projects with specific focus on cost; cash and quality, including material and process supervision.

• Process and coordinate sector procurement instructions.

• Supports strong supplier relationship management

• Analytical support to Direct & Indirect procurement activities.

• Support delivery of supply chain savings initiatives.

• Identify local business opportunities and alternative sources of supply and savings for the business.

• Prepare and present Procurement KPIs and monitor savings for India.

• Ensure compliance to the laid down process and policies. Lead internal/external audits activities.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a procurement role within an international manufacturing/industrial company

• proven achievements in reduction of procurement costs, procurement cycle time and vendor lead time (VMI)

• Capacity building for sourcing and building redundancy in the supply chain

• Vendor managemement

• Experience in driving improvement initiatives in procurement systems and processes, P2P process improvement

• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills

• Hands-on ERP SAP & JDE experience

• Fluent English
