I joined Nutanix back in 2016. Nutanix has been the first in many ways in how infrastructure software is sold, and I am fortunate to have been a part of many of those transitions. Nutanix embraces a hybrid model. You will be expected to come into the office 2–3 days a week. This model provides ample opportunity for collaboration and mingling among employees with all tenures - long and short.

The engineering and product management teams are largely based in India and the West Coast of the US. We work with sales and customers across the globe. We respond quickly to evolving needs. Your Role

Your primary role will be to help build solutions that provide mobility from applications running in various non-Nutanix environments to Nutanix environments. As a principal product manager, you will collaborate with engineering and sales. You will understand from customers - both large and small - their environments, their constraints, their needs, and you will help build and improve solutions to delight them in their migration journey. You will help with training our field and customers. You will collaborate with the marketing team to build a brand for this product.

What You Will Bring

• Understanding of server virtualization technology and the market. Understanding of the most popular hypervisors. Hands-on experience with products from leading vendors.

• Understanding network virtualization and network security concepts. Familiarity with leading products. Hands-on experience with products from leading vendors.

• Understand products for managing infrastructure and application lifecycle.

• Understand container technology.

• Understand how to build for and deploy applications in various environments. Virtualized, containerized, bare-metal. On the edge, on prem data centers, and in the cloud. Understand the full lifecycle of the application. Understand consideration of scaling, performance, resiliency, security, disaster recovery, and migration. Familiarity with compliance standards.

• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to build business cases, communicate effectively with professionally done presentations and write-ups, influence others, and measure success. Able to shape the product roadmap, get alignment and stay course in light of ambiguous information and emotional reactions.

• Self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals. Stay current with the competitive landscape. Takes ownership towards delivery of results. Drive deep engagement with cross-functional teams on complex initiatives. Build trusting relationships across teams and with the executive team, peers, and business partners. The ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of the organization, including the C-suite.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 6–10 years of relevant experience with progressively growing responsibilities.
