OnSemi is seeking a Principal Engineer -Application in AMG division for power management products. This group is responsible for development of power management products including DC-DC, PMIC/POL, AD-DC, controllers, SiC drivers, switches and efuses for consumer, industrial and automotive applications. In this role you will be focused on:

Role

• Working on Reference board development/proof of concepts for the power management products for industrial and automotive customers.

• Development of collaterals, datasheet and simulation model of the products.

• Review PCB design of the system/refence boards.

• Customer support and providing solution to customers.

• New product definition

• Benchmarking and providing relevant information to cross functional team like marketing and silicon design.

• Working closely & cop-operate with Marketing/Silicon Design/Sales/Distributors and Application engineer with other regions for business goals.

• Prepare training material and workshop to mentor and train the new hires/team.

• Troubleshooting of field issues on application level and proposing effective solutions.
