The BIC Frontline team is looking for a Principal Architect to lead the multi-discipline tech charter in India and build our Scheduling copilot and data engineering platform. Automated scheduling is expected to schedule 2/3rds of field service work by 2025, and we want to use the latest AI technology and Operations Research to implement a world class scheduling solution. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about growing teams, developing fault-tolerant high-performance services, and driving success for the team and for our customers. In this role you will lead the team to deliver a new AI infused service to automate the schedules of thousands of Frontline workers. Your team will be responsible for implementing scalable services features using Kubernetes, .Net and Azure infrastructure, and integrate with Microsoft Dataverse to support a range of Dynamics and M365 products.

Responsibilities

In this Architect role, you will be the senior most IC for the India org. You will guide and mentor the engineering community in Frontline. You will be responsible for the development of a scalable multi-tenant service delivering world class results, performance and reliability. You will coordinate with other Principal engineers, architects, and leaders across US / India to align the tech roadmap. You'll ensure your service works seamlessly with the all the products which leverage your technology, including D365 Field Service, Customer Service and Project Operations.

You are independent, driven and collaborative, and are able to uplevel the techstack and engineering for Frontline.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

2. 13+ years demonstrated experience in designing and developing enterprise-level business solutions at scale.

3. Working knowledge of C# or C++ / Java. including solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with services development, tools & frameworks such as: Kubernetes, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

• Proven ability to operate independently and manage a complex, ambiguous project at scale.

• Collaborating with technical partners across geographies to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Experience with multithreading and asynchronous processing.

• Self-motivated with a drive for reaching across teams and organizations to align goals across businesses and deliver success collaboratively.  

• Experience with Dataverse and Power Platform is a plus.
