JOB DESCRIPTIONTitle: Oracle Specialist IILocation: India
The Oracle Specialist is responsible for working and collaborating with Mouser’s Oracle Team (onshore / offshore) in Information Services. The team is responsible for supporting and implementing new functionality within our Oracle HCM and ERP modules. The team focuses on delivering solid (internal) customer service while providing comprehensive solutions to support our Finance and HR teams. The Oracle Specialist I will establish relationships and work with other Oracle team members, Mouser’s Directors, Executives and Business Managers to ensure value-added requirements are met in a timely manner
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Oracle Specialist should have general knowledge of latest technologies stack, that range from the traditional architectures to micro services and cloud enabled architectures.
Participate in the development and design sessions of latest Oracle ERP and HCM cloud solutions optimization related to information technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the applications.
Assist in the execution of the day-to-day activities of Oracle Cloud Technical engagements for assigned work related supporting internal customers.
Assist in identifying and managing new Oracle release changes as well as collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the needs of the organization.
Be open to identifying competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to the success of the project.
Be open to coaching and feedback as a prerequisite to successfully make changes on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements.
Take advantage of learning opportunities whenever possible. This includes when other team members experience design and troubleshooting issues.
Proactively ask for assistance while utilizing all available resources.
Ability to work effectively on multiple priorities with strict deliverable dates. Be involved in all stages of development, from product ideation through architecture and execution.
Support the evolution of the Oracle development methodology including development and documentation standards, testing procedures, quality assurance and change management.
Continual focus on maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
Ensure technical and production issues are quickly resolved and suggest strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence.
Participate and support the Oracle (HCM and ERP) strategy to stakeholders to achieve cross-organizational alignment.
Proactively communicate to management the progress and issues that encompass the assigned IT department.
Provide all stakeholders with high-level of service excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the application integrations and suggest an architectural solution that fits the needs for all scenarios.
Exhibits time management and organization skills, works with minimum supervision; makes independent decisions, and is detailed and thorough in work habits with the ability to multi-task.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required.
Experience in at least Oracle R13 or newer required.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications needed to perform daily duties, e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills and a good communicator.
Detailed oriented, committed to excellence and takes unrelenting pride in the code you write
Strong problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges.

Successfully iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and scaling the architecture.

Vendor relationship management experience preferred
Requirements
2+ years of implementation and configuration of packaged Oracle modules in Fusion and / or EBS experience required. For internal candidates, the experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
2 years of experience specifically implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion required.
Minimum 1 year architecture experience required.
Ability to create BI Publisher reports, OTBI reports, FRS reports, Smart View, HCM Extracts, Fast Formula and Dashboards. Good to have experience in at least two skills
