Job Overview

The Sr. Analyst Marketing Automation Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, a strategic advisor, and a tactical executor for our marketing automation and demand generation platforms (Eloqua, CRM – Salesforce, Capture, and ABM – Demand base). This role requires a deep understanding of strategic and tactical execution for email marketing, orchestration, nurture strategies, demand generation, account-based marketing, and opportunity acquisition. The specialist will act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, guiding achieving business goals through effective marketing automation strategies. Excellent communication skills, a tactful, diplomatic approach, creative problem-solving skills, and an ability to understand and respond to customer needs in a changing business environment are required.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation Management:

• Own all tactical activity in the Eloqua system to support business unit campaign activity, including segmentation, campaign planning, activation, email creation, nurturing activity, form creation, and more.

• Manage and optimize marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, iCapture) to support campaign execution, lead nurturing, and data management.

• Develop, implement, and refine automated marketing workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Develop and collect input briefs from client business units to create, manage, activate, and report on Eloqua campaigns, maximizing client value and contributing to overall success criteria. Implement reviews and make process improvements.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing automation initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Develop and execute ABM strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion within target accounts.

Campaign Support and Execution:

• Implement nurture strategies to guide leads through the sales funnel, from awareness to conversion.

• Coordinate with content creators and designers to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all campaign assets.

• Collaborate with relevant marketing team members and stakeholders to understand their unique goals, objectives, and challenges.

• Balance multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities across a shared resource pool in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Email Marketing and Orchestration:

• Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.

• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.

• Analyze email campaign performance and optimize for better engagement and conversion rates.

Demand Generation and Opportunity Acquisition:

• Plan and execute demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and opportunities.

• Monitor and report on the performance of demand generation activities, providing insights to optimize future efforts.

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to align demand-generation initiatives with business objectives.

Stakeholder Management and Strategic Advisory:

• Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, guiding marketing automation best practices.

• Work closely with stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business goals.

• Provide training and support to internal teams on marketing automation and ABM tools.

• Provide guidance that aligns with the governance model, digital best practices, and brand alignment.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Provide, review, and analyze marketing automation campaign performance data and present results to illustrate insights and enable decision-making.

• Analyze marketing automation campaign data to measure performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance to stakeholders.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all marketing platforms and databases.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with a marketing automation platform (preferably Eloqua).

• Proficiency in Eloqua, iCapture, and Demandbase.

• Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and campaign best practices.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and integration with marketing automation platforms.

• Experience with data management and manipulation.

• HTML skills required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to influence internal business partners with no direct reporting relationship exists.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with API integrations and web forms.

• Experience with marketing reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo Engage, Tableau).
