Manager, Solution Engineering

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Manager who is a technical leader and will be responsible for managing a highly motivated cybersecurity engineering team. This person will create and implement a strategic vision, in collaboration with the Senior Director, for the team across all products within the enterprise security portfolio. The individual in this role is expected to have excellent communications and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable in ambiguous and diverse environments.

The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with leadership and life skills to cultivate a strong, adaptable, and dynamic team culture. You will have a hands-on role in developing and implementing security strategies while supporting the personal and professional growth of your team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers and analysts fostering a collaborative and positive culture

• Promote work-life balance and mental well-being within the team, ensuring sustainable workloads and stress management

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback, set performance goals, and discuss career development

• Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging team members to stay updated on the latest security trends and security technologies

• Define, prioritize, allocate resources, track, and provide status reporting of work assignments, projects, and programs

Relationship Management

• Builds relationships and partners with functional areas across the business to raise awareness and support for cybersecurity

• Works with peer teams to document and maintain cybersecurity standards and procedures

• Able to communicate effectively with executive management and technical teams to provide relevant and timely updates

• Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity vendors and/or tools and participate in proof of concepts

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems En gineering or a related qualification

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

• Experience working with Endpoint, Detection, and Response, vulnerability scanners, Service Ticketing, and major cloud service providers

• Attention to detail with an analytical mind, creativity a nd problem-solving abilities
