Your Role and Responsibilities

• Leverages expertise in the operation and management of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions.

• The resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business.

• Prepares new or changed services, manages change processes, and manages performance of systems and services in relation to their contribution to business performance.

• Applies technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions and typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Installation Automation Tools Skills : CA OPS/MVS, IBM Tivoli Net View.

• IBM Tivoli System Automation, BMC Main view Auto Operator, BMC Control-O, GDPSn, configuration, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of IBM Z/OS Mainframe Automation products.

• Proactive automation solutions, including project lead.

• Client collaboration projects, and technical refresh.

• Innovative solution design.

• Testing, Change and Problem Management.

• Experience and Expertise on software migration and maintenance procedures - Install, backout, re-migration process.

• Experience and good exposure to unsupported, new features in the recent versions.

• Patching, testing, upgrades, installation.

• Coding for Z/OS, REXX, Tivoli Experience with performance tuning of systems, practicing capacity planning activity during system up-gradation and pro-actively managing capacity planning on regular basis.

• Clear understanding about SMF and analysing and drawing insights from SMF data Processing.

• Experience with Workload Load Manager (WLM), Parallel Sysplex configurations, multiple LPAR environments, and experience in capacity/performance reporting and modelling.

• Must have system performance understanding of mainframe.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
